One of the best ways to see Philadelphia is from the Delaware River, and one can do this either with a private boat, by ferry heading to and from the Camden Riverfront or on one of the excursion boats that offer cruises. The newest of those boats is The Philadelphia Belle, and when The Medical Club offered a Saturday brunch cruise on June 25, we were among the first to sign up.
We joined a group of about 30 physicians and their spouses on a leisurely cruise down to the Akers Shipyard and back, and we enjoyed a delicious brunch, yummy libations and views of the city that could not be beat. It was a beautiful day with a cooling breeze, lots of sun and excellent company.
