Claire thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Weems. She spent fun playtime with her Mom, her Aunt Mini, Aunt June, Annie, Suzanne, Will, Laura, Julia and Bibi, and she brought big smiles to Uncle Dick's face. She paddled about with her Mom in the pool, and even had her first swimming lesson. With that she was totally following in her Mom's footsteps because her Mom learned to swim in Aunt June's Rockville, MD pool, the place we always called Higgins' Beach. She was in a very cheerful mood all day and even took a long nap in her stroller while the rest of us played a spirited game of Scrabble.
"I want to go swimming now!" yelled Claire to Aunt Sue.
