or at least that is what it felt like around here during the month of September and into early October as Nerina Slutskaya's brood grew, learned to eat kitten food, learned to use the kitty litter, realized that playing 24/7 was the way to kitten happiness, and collectively loved making continuous messes! There is nothing cuter than a kitten, but oh, my are they a lot of work!

Sweet Sesta was always hiding in waiting for the unsuspecting sibling to come within her range, then she would pounce!
Quarta loved to observe from up above. She loved to leap upon those unsuspecting sibs.
Terzo (and Primo) were the lone males in a sea of females, but that did not stop them from acting like typical little "boys". They were the wildest of them all.

They were the wildest of them all.We were very fortunate to find wonderful homes for all of them, and between October 3 and October 9, we watched them all leave with their new pet parents.
Primo and Terzo are living down the street with neighbors Jean Francois and Roger.
Quinta and Sesta, now renamed Athena and Selena, are happily in the care of 12 year old Cameron and his extended family, and the family dog, Titan, is frightened to death of them.
Seconda and Quarta live with 10 year old Reuben and his family, and I hear that they are already spoiled rotten :-).
Nerina will be heading to the Vet very soon, and despite her heart murmur, she WILL be spayed. I don't plan on being a kitten grandparent ever again!
