June 21, 1982 was a hot summer day in Washington, DC, and I had the Joy of spending it at Washington Hospital Center giving birth to our second beautiful daughter and Ashley's little sissy, Courtney Ann! I was thrilled when another tiny pink bundle was placed in my arms, and that little baby girl has grown to become a lovely and accomplished young woman who continually makes her family so proud.
Courtney, you are
beautiful to look at, with a heart of gold, and charged with a get it done attitude that is second to none. May this year bring you more joy, happiness, and accomplishment than any other, and may all of your dreams come true!
