The Rain Did Not Stop Us - Not One Little Bit...

And so, you know what Dale most wanted to do on a rainy Father's Day? Harrahs, Showboat and Caesars were simply calling his name.

A totally sold-out standing room only crowd ready to dance and sing and party (although most had been doing so all day) just before the opening number to kick off the big event - "SummerZCool - 2009" starring Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band. Jimmy and friends put on an excellent show that had us on our feet, cheering and singing along for over two hours.

In rather miraculous fashion, the skies cleared just in time for the crowd to gather on the lawn. The views from Susquehanna Bank Park were memorable, and the scene was equally as memorable.

Pouring Tequila for more Mango Margaritas and cooking, what else?, Cheeseburgers! Mark is clad in the t-shirt we gave him for his birthday.

Dale and Christian and a spirited game of Beer Pong on the dock between showers. The pool net came in handy for scooping the balls out of the water.

Despite the persistant rains on Saturday, we joined the throng of Parrothead tailgaters and boat partiers over in Camden, NJ as a prelude to the Jimmy Buffett concert scheduled for that evening. Mark and Janet were hosting their family and friends on board the "Lost Shaker of Salt", and we did not want to miss out on the slightly soggy fun.

Friday was one of the rare days when the rain fell only in the morning, and Friday night we were able to join a large contingent of South Jersey Ski Club friends at the Phillies-Orioles game.

Something tells me that Enzo did not really appreciate the gift we brought home to him.
